How to Pray in Latin

Three Reasons to Pray in Latin
1. It is the official language of Holy Mother Church.
2. The devil hates it. The journalist Tracy Wilkinson states, “nothing rankles demons more than prayers in Latin… The devil doesn’t like Latin… That is one of the first things I learned from Father Gabriele Amorth, long known as Rome’s chief exorcist… He prefers to use Latin when he conducts exorcisms, he says, because it is most effective in challenging the devil.”
3. It promotes unity. The Holy Father stated on June 28, 2005, that prayer in Latin “will help Christian faithful of different languages pray together, especially when they gather for special circumstances.”
